A story of struggle and Resistance. Five fighters of EAM (National Liberation Front) are led to the gallows of the Nazi executioners in the square of Lixouri, Kefalonia. They are the professor and philologist Dionysis Ratsiatos, Gavriil Rallatos together with his son Vasileios, Antonis Lixouriotatos, and Spyros Analytis. All of them heroes, all of them immortal… They were executed as an act of intimidation and “exemplary punishment”…
The program “Time in Greece” delves into the dark pages of history, going back to June of 1944 and bringing to light the betrayals, atrocities, and horrors that marked the lives and struggles of these five heroic fighters.
