“Fruitland Fairy Tales” by the 4th Primary School of Kavala | 20 Sept. 2025, 18:00

“There was once a wondrous place called Fruitland, where children played among the fruit fairies. Whenever the children longed for tangerines, they would visit the Tangerine Fairy, who always offered them in abundance. And as they ate, they discovered Vita the Vitamin, a tiny spirit hidden within the fruit. She gave the children great strength—and thanks to her gift, they never fell ill…”

The program “Narratives – Stories and Fairy Tales for All Ages” presents, on Saturday 20 September 2025, from 17:00 to 18:00 Athens time on Voice of Greece, a delightful educational project from the 2nd grade of the 4th Primary School of Kavala, titled “Fruitland Tales”!

Children write fairy tales for children as part of their school’s creative learning program,
, and together with their teacher and Physical Education instructor, Ms. Vicky Vlachogianni, they create their own stories—mixing… what else? Fruit and plenty of imagination!

The young authors of the 2nd grade invent short tales inspired by the words: “Fruitland” – “Children” – “Vita the Vitamin” – and “Fairy…” each linked to a fruit character. So, the Berry Fairy, the Cherry Fairy, the Tangerine Fairy, and many more fruit fairies invite us, along with the young students, to share their magical stories!

And children, don’t forget: the little authors’ special instruction is that these tales are “…best enjoyed with a bowl of delicious fruit salad!”

Produced and presented by Maria Karagiannaki Iona
