Seven poems every week, one Greek poem each day, travel through the frequencies of Voice of Greece, reaching every corner of the world where Greek voices are heard.
Each week spotlights a contemporary Greek poet, including voices from the Greek diaspora. The poets themselves curate and perform their own work for radio, with each piece set to music by acclaimed composers.
The week of 06–12 October 2025 is dedicated to the poet Angelos Kalogeropoulos.
Angelos Kalogeropoulos. was born in Kyparissia in 1959. He writes poetry and songs, occasionally contributes articles to literary magazines, and more rarely to newspapers. He worked as a philologist in secondary education.
He holds a PhD in Musicology and has participated in the musical ensembles «Άλλυδις Άλλος» (Allydis Allos) and «Τα Μέλη του Λόγου» (Ta Meli tou Logou), while also being a member of the editorial team of the magazine Ερουρέμ» (Erourém) (1982–1984 and 1995–1996).
Since 2018, he has overseen the publication of the journal «Το Κοινόν των Ωραίων Τεχνών» (The Commonwealth of Fine Arts). He has published several poetry collections, short stories, and studies.
His most recent book is «Κήρυξις Ἀφανείας» (Proclamation of Obscurity), Το Κοινόν τῶν Ὡραίων Τεχνῶν, 2025.
