Seven poems each week—one Greek poem each day—travel through the airwaves of Voice of Greece, reaching the far corners of the world where Greek voices are heard. From 29 September to 5 October 2025, the podcast series is dedicated to poet Giorgos Dritsas.
Giorgos Dritsas was born in 1994 in Corinth.
He graduated from the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology at the University of Athens, where he also completed his postgraduate studies and is currently pursuing a PhD. His poems, short stories, and literary reviews have appeared in print and online journals as well as in newspapers.
In 2016 he published his first poetry collection, Η ηχώ του Ζαρατούστρα (The Echo of Zarathustra). From Odo Panos Editions, his two later works were released as a thematic diptych: Σκιά θανάτου (Shadow of Death) (2022) and Το ματωμένο όνειρο (The Bloody Dream) (2023).
