On the occasion of the historic meeting between Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and Pope Leo XIV—taking place 1,700 years after the First Ecumenical Council in Nicaea—Voice of Greece adapted its programming to present special news coverage and interviews with representatives of the Orthodox and Catholic Churches, as well as experts in theology and geopolitics.
On the day of the Pontiff’s arrival in Constantinople, Giorgos Dionysopoulos was in the Voice of Greece studio for a two-hour news program featuring:
