“Our Town”, hosted by Themis Rodamitis, presents a tribute to the poet Christos Bravos, one of the most important voices of the poetic generation of the 1970s.
Although he passed away at a young age, Christos Bravos left behind a significant body of work and a powerful poetic imprint, remaining unforgettable for his humanity, which made him especially beloved among fellow writers and all who knew him.
Speaking about the distinctive qualities of his poetry and their personal connection with him are poets Giorgos Markopoulos and Panos Kyparissis, director Thodoris Gonis, and composer Paris Paraschopoulos.
Poems and texts are read by actors Achilleas Karazisis and Stelios Mainas, while songs set to the poetry of Christos Bravos will also be featured, with music by Thanasis Papakonstantinou, Babis Papadopoulos (of the band Trypes), and Paris Paraschopoulos, alongside traditional Macedonian music.
