“Our Town” welcomes distinguished theoretical physicist Dimitri Nanopoulos on the occasion of the recent publication of his book “Ο Κβαντικός Μύθος του Σίσυφου. (The Quantum Myth of Sisyphus.)
An internationally renowned scientist, Nanopoulos is recognized for his pioneering contributions to particle physics, cosmology, string theory and unified field theories. He will discuss the ideas explored in his new book, in which he draws on quantum physics to examine fundamental questions about the creation of the universe, human existence and the search for meaning, opening a new dialogue with Albert Camus’ philosophy of the Absurd.
