“Our Town” with Themis Rodamitis presents a tribute to the “Agatha” Crime Fiction Festival, which returns to Athens this year for its 7th edition.
Guests in the studio include the festival’s organizer, Ioanna Petridou, who discuss the evolution of the institution and its impact, and writer–screenwriter Vicky Hassandra, who speaks about the author as an “anatomist of the human psyche.”
During the program, there are references to this year’s themes of the established festival, centered on the concept “Crime – Individual – Society: Crime under the microscope of science and literature.” Emeritus Professor of Criminology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Giannis Panousis, also intervenes, addressing the topic “The real or fictional criminal in crime fiction.”
