On Sunday, 26 April 2026, from 12:00 to 14:00 (Athens time), the Voice of Greece program “Our Town”, hosted by Themis Rodamitis, welcomes Doros Demosthenous. The distinguished performer, known for his rich and carefully curated repertoire, joins the studio to reflect on defining moments in his artistic journey.
He will speak about his early years in his homeland, Cyprus, and the composers and collaborators who shaped his path in both the Greek and international repertoire. The conversation will also touch on his collaborations with the vocal ensemble “Diastasis” of Limassol and the Orchestra of Colours, as well as on major composers such as Mikis Theodorakis, Christos Leontis, Giannis Spanos, Stamatis Spanoudakis, Marios Tokas, Loukianos Kilaidonis, Alkinoos Ioannidis, Lena Platonos, and Nana Mouskouri, among others.
He will also share thoughts on his childhood, his favorite philosophers and their enduring words, as well as on creative solitude, inspiration, play, and love.
