On Saturday, 25 April 2026, from 12:00 to 13:00 (Athens time), the Voice of Greece program “Our Town” with Themis Rodamitis presents a tribute to the “Agatha” Crime Fiction Festival, which returns to Athens this year for its 7th edition.
Guests in the studio will include the festival’s organizer, Ioanna Petridou, who will discuss the evolution of the institution and its impact, and writer–screenwriter Vicky Hassandra, who will speak about the author as an “anatomist of the human psyche.”
During the program, there will be references to this year’s themes of the established festival, centered on the concept “Crime – Individual – Society: Crime under the microscope of science and literature.” Emeritus Professor of Criminology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Giannis Panousis, will also intervene, addressing the topic “The real or fictional criminal in crime fiction.”
