“Route 66” | 22.05.2026, 10:00

A practical guide to a road trip along Route 66, the legendary highway of the United States — a road that is not merely a route from Chicago to Santa Monica, but a symbol of freedom, wandering, and the American imagination.

On Friday, 22 May 2026, at 13:00 Athens time, we travel the 2,448 miles of Route 66, crossing eight states and three time zones, while listening to the stories it carries — stories of immigrants, travelers, families, small towns, diners, motels, and glowing neon signs.

Produced and presented by Ariadni-Sofia Kouri
Broadcast: Friday, 22 May 2026, at 13:00 Athens time
