Ladies and gentlemen, meet Leonidas Vandoros — a sporting phenomenon from beautiful Kefalonia. For forty years, he has been playing soccer at a highly competitive level. He first registered as a player four decades ago and hasn’t stopped since. A record holder in Greek soccer and surely one of very few players worldwide with such a long, unbroken career, he is now 55 — still lacing up his cleats, taking a deep breath, and showing his skill on the field.
Join us as we get to know this remarkable athlete on “Time in Greece” with Nikolas Angelidis. He has traveled from Kefalonia to share his extraordinary, almost fairy-tale story with us in person.
