On Saturday, November 4, 12:00-14:00 Greek time, “Our Town” features Christos Chomenidis.

The well-known and beloved author talks about his family, with their particular political and social contribution to this country, the great poets of his neighborhood of Kypseli (Koun, Gatsos, Sachtouris, etc.), his friends and groups of friends, and the haunts he has come to love.

In an open discussion with Themis Rodamitis, they talk about issues involving the internet, democracy, society, politics, and culture. Particular references are made to the concepts of loss, fairy tales, knowledge, education, beauty, justice, as well as to hearing as an essential value for evolution, to one’s sense of humor, to laughter, and to optimism.

Chomenidis talks about his travels, his favorite cities, the music he loves, theatre, the cinema.
