Christos Kavalis and Christos Papadopoulos are this week’s Remarkable Personalities | 25.11.2023, 16.00

The show “Remarkable Personalities”, presented by Mina Ralli, travels to Egypt this Saturday.

Joining us is Christos Kavalis, President of the Greek Community of Cairo and publisher of the newspaper “Neo Fos”, which chronicles the life of the Greek community in Egypt.

Mr. Kavalis talks about the Greek schools in Cairo and the Greek public hospital, operating in Egypt since 1912, while commenting on how the war in the Middle East has affected the Egyptian community.

Christos Papadopoulos, who has served for many years as director of the Greek Cultural Center of Cairo, talks to us about the event titled “MARIA CALLAS: In Memoriam”, organized on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the great Greek woman, by the Embassy of Greece in Egypt and the Cairo Opera on Monday, December 4, 2023.
