Dedicated to mothers raising children with ADHD | 08 Mar. 2025, 17:00

The radio show Narratives – Stories and Fairy Tales for All Ages honors, on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 17:00 to 18:00 on “Voice of Greece”, all those mothers who raise children with special abilities, concluding the narration of the beautiful story of little Manos, a child with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

We dedicate this fourth and final part of the story to those mothers who undoubtedly face greater challenges than others—mothers raising children with ADHD.
Because these mothers chose, at a crucial moment, to continue.
Because they persevered, even when they received no optimistic messages from doctors during their pregnancy.
Because they face daily judgmental glances and negative comments with courage, dignity, and patience.
Because they are strong—so strong that even they are surprised by their own strength.
Because they are not just mothers; they are also doctors, physiotherapists, speech therapists, and anything else their child may need.
Because some days are much harder than others.
Because they never give up.
Because they have endless patience.
Because they know that their child needs them more than anything else in the world.
Because they deserve nothing but our respect—for when they look at their child, they don’t see a child with ADHD, they simply see their child.

The book, published by Kedros, is written by Maya Delivoria with stunning illustrations by Apostolos Ioannou.
The story of little Manos is accompanied by an informative note on ADHD by psychotherapist and family therapist Era Moulaki.

A tribute to all the wonderful mothers of children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Produced and presented by Maria Karagiannaki Iona
Broadcast: Saturday, March 8, 2025 | 17:00-18:00 (Athens time)
