Giorgos Tsavliris on ”Fair Winds and Following Seas” | 03.11.2023

George Tsavliris, Principal at “Tsavrilis Salvage Group”, is the guest on Saturday, October 14th, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. Greek time (with a rerun at 8:00 p.m.) on Voice of Greece and the show “Fair Winds and Following Seas – Weekend shift” curated and presented by Antonis Karagiannakis.

George Tsavliris talks about his journey at sea, since his first voyage, at the age of 16, on the ship “New Hill”, his father Alexandros, his risk-taking, decisions, insights, recognition, success, and the overall history and trajectory of “Tsavliris Salvage Group”.

George Tsavliris, who can play bouzouki and sing, stresses that “the seafaring profession requires faith in yourself and God, hard work, consistency, and a daring spirit. “Those who succeeded in shipping had both luck and daring,” are his words.

In conversation with the listeners of the Voice of Greece, he sends a special message with some advice about life: “Never get divorced from simplicity, and also do not live life, but rather flirt with it.”
