Historical Walks: A guide for growing old | 28 Sept. 2024, 13:00

On Saturday, September 28, 2024, on the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons (October 1), “Historical Walks” will host geriatrician Evridiki Kravvariti, who will talk to us comprehensively about aging.

We will discuss how to care for our elderly parents and how to prepare for our own “Golden Years.” We will address the fear of death, ageism towards the elderly, and how to communicate with them—what we should discuss openly without secrets, and how to manage difficult situations such as illnesses and psychological issues.

Dr. Kravvariti will analyze the importance of lifestyle changes from a young age to ensure better conditions for aging and will inform us about the first Geriatric Clinic in Greece.
