The internationally renowned musician Katerina Pipili will appear on the show “Our Town” on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, at 12:00. Pipili, a singer, pianist, and composer based in Paris, will talk about her extensive musical journey, her studies, and the concerts she has performed in Greece, France, New York, Berlin, and Amsterdam. She will also share how her music is influenced by classical and jazz traditions, the significant mentors in her career, and her unique compositional style, which harmonizes the old with the new.

The guest will emphasize the importance of rhythm, movement, and expressive performance, as well as the value of collective creativity on stage. Additionally, she will discuss social issues that concern her as an engaged citizen and reflect on the importance of friendship and lively social circles.

During the interview, she will touch on her life in Paris, her connection with fellow Greeks there, and the special places in the city where she presents jazz and rebetiko music. She will also talk about her latest projects and future plans, while offering an imaginary tour of her favorite spots in Paris.
