Alexandra Gravas, the renowned Greek mezzo-soprano, will be hosted by Mina Ralli in the studio of Voice of Greece this Saturday, November 2.

In this comprehensive interview on the program Remarkable Personalities, Gravas unravels the story of her life and career. She shares memories from her childhood in Germany and recalls the challenging times when a serious vocal issue led some to mistakenly think she was mute. She talks about her early professional steps at London’s City Opera, her career-defining collaboration with the legendary composer Mikis Theodorakis, and the obstacles she faced on her journey to professional recognition.

The “muse from Greece,” as she is known, shares her experiences from performing in prestigious theaters and top productions in dozens of countries worldwide. She also explains her special connection with Mexico, where she will give a recital on November 8 at the Palacio de Bellas Artes.
