On Saturday, December 14, from 12:00 to 13:00 (Athens time), the show Our Town will give you a taste of ERT’s captivating new series, Maria: The Unknown Callas” . The series director Olga Malea, will be a guest in the studio to discuss the meticulously crafted series, which draws heavily from historian Nikola Petsalis-Diomidis’ book The Unknown Callas.
The series traces her journey from a shy girl to a diva of the century. It delves into the houses where Callas lived, her early years, the atmosphere of the era, including the wartime occupation, her living conditions, the people who supported her, and her family.
