On Friday, June 9, 20.00021.00 Athens time, the show Our Town will make a little tribute to Leonard Cohen. The singer-songwriter left a considerable legacy behind, in terms of his body of work as well as his poetic way of life.
What he loved, lived and truly believed in will be revisited during the show, in his own words, while Myrsini Gkana will join us in the studio to give her own, personal insight on Leonard Cohen, and actor Themis Andreadis will elaborate on Cohen’s love affair with the island of Hydra, as well as his own ‘love affair’ with the artist.
Excerpt of Leonard Cohen’s writings: Nobody conquers the heart. Nobody conquers love. In a way, we are all amateurs in these matters and they have to be reconsidered every single day. There is no guarantee that the relationship we had last night before goint to bed will still be the same when we wake up.
