“Stories of Athenian apartment buildings” | 20 Dec. 2024, 13:00

A captivating radio documentary featuring stories of Athenian apartment buildings will air as part of the radio series Unguarded Passage this Friday, December 20, 2024, at 1:00 PM.

This anthropogeographic radio documentary explores the social space of urban living, sharing both historical and contemporary tales from neighborhoods such as Agios Panteleimonas, Kallithea, Ampelokipoi, Kypseli, and Fylis Street.

The main narrator is Professor Emeritus of Social Geography at Harokopio University, Thomas Maloutas, who is also a Research Director at the National Centre for Social Research (EKKE). Contributing to the program is Dr. Nikolina Myofa, an expert in Urban Social Geography and a postdoctoral researcher at EKKE.
