Stories of Resistance from the Occupation and Liberation | 04 Oct. 2024, 13:00

“Unguarded Passage” dedicates the entire month of October to the years of fascist and Nazi Occupation and the Liberation of Athens, with four powerful radio documentaries airing on Voice of Greece on October 4, 11, 18, and 25, from 13:00 to 14:00.

Through oral testimonies, texts, and diaries collected by documentary creator and ERT journalist, Thomas Sideris, following years of research, these documentaries create a historical tapestry that unfolds the lives of heroes who experienced the darkness and horror of occupation, resisted in their own ways, and breathed a sigh of relief upon the Liberation.
