World traveler Dimitris Parousis on “Saturday Shift” | 21 Sept. 2024, 08:00

Go Dimitris, aka world traveler Dimitris Parousis, takes the helm of the show “Fair Winds and Following Seas” with Antonis Karagiannakis on Saturday, September 21, at 08:00 Athens time, (with a repeat broadcast at 20:00 Athens time.)

Dimitris Parousis couldn’t resist the challenge of a dream that is also a secret desire for many – to travel around the world. At the age of 35, he decided to make it happen. He sold his few belongings, quit his job, grabbed his backpack, a digital camera, a laptop, and a compass, and embarked on his own Odyssey. He started in Latin America and continues his journey…

Along the way, he met many Greeks of the Diaspora, Greek communities, and Greek sailors, each with many stories, activities, concerns, and narratives.

Produced and presented by Antonis Karagiannakis
Broadcast: Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 08:00 – and repeat at 20:00 (Athens time).
