Athens on Stage – A Tribute by “Our Town” | 14 Feb. 2026, 12:00

On Saturday, 14 February 2026, from 12:00 to 13:00 (Athens time), the Voice of Greece program “Our Town”, hosted by Themis Rodamitis takes listeners to theatre stages across Athens and discusses current productions with directors and actors involved in them.

The following guests will speak on the program:

Grigoris Valtinos, director and actor in “Tuesdays with Morrie” by Jeffrey Hatcher and Mitch Albom.

Manolis Mavromatakis, speaking about the play “Agrioi (Wild Ones)” by Giorgos Paloumbis.

Stathis Livathinos, discussing “The Queen of Spades” by Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin.

Giannos Perlegkas, on the production “The Force of Habit” by Thomas Bernhard.

Nikos Psarras, speaking about “Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption” by Stephen King.

The program will also highlight the creative teams behind the productions, the distinctive qualities of the texts, and the role theatre plays in today’s world.
