On Saturday 26 July 2025, at 12:00 Athens time, “Our Town” will welcome Giannis Alexiou — author, journalist, vinyl collector, and one of the foremost experts on the Greek and international rock scene.
In the studio, the guest will talk about his rare music collections and share stories from his encounters and interviews with influential figures in music and culture, offering listeners unique insights.
Beyond music, he’ll also speak about his second field of expertise – football– and reflect on the distinct character of an older era of the game, which today sounds almost like a fairytale.
He will also discuss his connection to his own “town”: Nea Smyrni.
