On Saturday, 09 August 2025, from 12:00 to 13:00 Athens time, the Voice of Greece program “Our Town” with Themis Rodamitis welcomes acclaimed author Andreas Mitsou.
Inspired by his latest novella, “Two Strange Creatures”, Mitsou takes us on a literary journey to a deserted beach on the island of Nisyros, near its majestic volcano — the setting for a surreal and mysterious story.
In conversation, he will speak about the sources of his inspiration, drawn from everyday life and the literary world, as well as his regular columns, which he views as an essential means of expression and connection. With a thoughtful and poetic lens, Mitsou will also reflect on today’s world and the importance of making space for imagination, storytelling, and the wonder of unexpected encounters.
