On Saturday, 21 March 2026, at 08:00 Athens time, “Saturday Shift”, the two-hour Saturday edition of the Voice of Greece program “Fair Winds and Following Seas” with Antonis Karagiannakis, welcomes Professor Yannis Theotokas, President of the Department of Maritime Studies at the University of Piraeus, researcher and author.
On the occasion of the 4th expanded edition of his book “Organization and Management of Shipping Companies”, published by Alexandria Publications—a key reference work for those involved in, or entering, the maritime sector—Mr Theotokas visits the ERT studio for a wide-ranging interview. The discussion will cover shipping, his relationship with the sea and ships, his beloved Chios, maritime education, the structure and organization of shipping companies, as well as the opportunities the sector offers.
