Dr. Maria Boile, Professor of Maritime Studies, on “Saturday Shift” | 30 Aug. 2025, 08:00

On Saturday, 30 August 2025, at 08:00 a.m. Athens time, the Voice of Greece program “Fair Winds and Following Seas – Saturday Shift” with Antonis Karagiannakis hosts Dr. Maria Boile, Professor of Maritime Studies at the University of Piraeus.

For me, the sea is a road. A road of trade. A road that connects peoples, ideas, and cultures. I come from a seafaring family, generation after generation, and I too continue to serve the sea in my own way, from my own post,” says Dr. Boile.

The discussion will focus on maritime studies, port policy and terminal management, decarbonization in shipping, the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in maritime education, the blue economy, and many other fascinating topics.

A special radio journey on Voice of Greece and “Fair Winds and Following Seas” — not to be missed.

Produced & presented by Antonis Karagiannakis
Broadcast: Saturday, 30 August 2025, 08:00 Athens time – with a repeat at 20:00.
