On Sunday, 14 December 2025, from 12:00 to 14:00 (Athens time), the Voice of Greece program “Our Town” presents a special broadcast from Studio B of Hellenic Radio, featuring beloved and emblematic Greek songs. In the second part, listeners will hear some of the finest songs by Markos Vamvakaris, Giannis Papaioannou, Mikis Theodorakis, Manos Hadjidakis, Yannis Markopoulos, Stavros Xarchakos, Dimitris Moutsis, Giorgos Spanou, and others—songs that, from the moment they were first heard, became part of the people’s shared musical memory.
