On Thursday, 12 February, at 12:00 (Athens time), the program “Imprint” with Fuli Zavitsanou welcomes to the studio of Voice of Greece historian Iasonas Zarikos, postdoctoral researcher at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and scientific coordinator of the program “The Climate Crisis and the Ideologies of the 21st Century” at the Academy of Athens.
The guest discusses the much-debated book by Indian historian Dipesh Chakrabarty, “Climate Change and History: Four Theses”, recently published in Greek by Plethos Editions, edited by Zarikos himself and accompanied by a particularly illuminating afterword.
The Four Theses constitute one of the most significant interventions in the philosophy of history in our century, establishing climate change as the new horizon of our future.
