Marking one hundred years since the birth of Manos Hadjidakis – the composer who profoundly shaped Greek music and culture, and who also served as Director of “Trito Programma” – the Third Programme of Greek Radio (ERT), Tuesday’s episode of “Human Landscapes” (21 October 2025) is dedicated to all those who defined the essence of Greek Radio: the producers, journalists, sound engineers, and technicians who taught us how to listen, how to create radio, how to carry the responsibility of the public microphone, and ultimately how to become better listeners.
With guest radio producer Sideris Printezis, we revisit eras and voices, music and broadcasts that shaped his own “radio landscapes” — a heartfelt tribute, a quiet thank you to that one listener who gives meaning to everything we do on air.
Produced and presented by Victoria Kavouriari
Broadcast: Tuesday, 21 October 2025, 22:00-23:00 (Athens time)
