Katerina Liatzoura is “Poet of the Week” | 23 – 29 June 2025

Each week is dedicated to a contemporary Greek poet, including voices from the Diaspora. The poets themselves curate the radio interpretations of their work.

The week of 23 to 29 June 2025 is dedicated to the poet Katerina Liatzoura.

Katerina Liatzoura is active in poetry, translation, and artistic photography. She translates contemporary Greek poetry into German and German-language literature into Greek. She also engages in conversations with fellow poets and shares her reflections on their books.

She was born in 1972 in Stuttgart, Germany. She holds a degree in German Language and Literature from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and a Master’s degree in Cultural Management from the Hellenic Open University.

She lives in Chalkida and works in Secondary Education in Evia as a German Language and Literature teacher. She is a member of PEN Greece.
