KSENOI Projects: Exploring Greekness today | 20 Sept. 2025, 10:00

What does Greekness really mean? How is Greece experienced when carried beyond its borders, and in what ways does the Greek element shape both personal and collective identity?

Is being Greek in Greece the same as being Greek in the diaspora?

Through exhibitions, workshops, zines, research groups, and community-driven projects that engage with Greeks abroad, “KSENOI Projects” explores universal yet deeply personal questions of identity, belonging, heritage, and migration. It is a creative platform that turns individual experience into shared expression, opening dialogues that cross borders and forging new connections between artists and audiences.

On Saturday, 20 September 2025, at 10:00 (Athens time), and ahead of the group exhibition “Ξένοι (xénoi): foreigners” taking place in Athens from 25 to 28 September 2025, the program “Ariadni’s Thread” on Voice of Greece hosts Anna Makri – artist, curator of the exhibition and founder of the collective photographer Danae-Maria Lyratzi. Together, they discuss how personal experience can be transformed into a space of solidarity and collective creation.

Produced and presented by Ariadni-Sofia Kouri
Broadcast: Saturday, 20 September 2025, at 10:00 (Athens time)
