On Friday, 30 October 2026, at 22:00 Athens time, Voice of Greece’s “Greek Jazz Players,” hosted by Pantazis Tsaras, welcomes the trio led by pianist, composer, and improviser Manos Saridakis.
Performing live from ERT’s Studio C, the trio presents pieces from “Greek Real Book Vol. 2,” along with two of Saridakis’s compositions from “Emmanuel Saridakis – Alone in New York.”
The trio features Manos Saridakis on piano, Panagiotis Bourazanis on electric bass, and Yiannis Stavropoulos on drums.
Greek musical tradition meets the trio’s distinctive sound through beloved melodies such as “Itia,” “Kontoula Lemonia,” and “Gianni Mou to Mantili Sou,” a traditional song from Epirus. The program also includes “The Greek Summertime” and other compositions.
A special musical encounter infused with the spirit of Greece.
Special thanks to Bettina Buschbeck for photographing the session.
