On Saturday, 18 October 2025, from 12:00 to 13:00, “Our Town” with Themis Rodamitis welcomes Nikos Diamantis – director, actor, and Artistic Director of the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus- for a “radio stroll” through the neighborhoods of Piraeus.
The guest shares the places of “his town” that still hold a forgotten kind of magic – cityscapes reminiscent of classic Italian cinema from past decades.
Special mention will be made of the city’s true jewel, the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus: its long history, the great artists who have performed there, and the iconic productions that left their mark on Greek theatre.
Nikos Diamantis will also discuss the theatre’s current initiatives – numerous and highly engaging- , as well as its upcoming projects
The conversation will touch upon themes such as fame, career, failure, validation, the value of collaboration, the balance between “I” and “We,” and the path toward truth.
Music from theatre productions in Greece and abroad will accompany the broadcast.
