“Greeks Around the World”: Elena Markopoulos (Greece in Argentina)

As part of the series of broadcasts of Voice of Greece, “Greeks Around the World – Greece in Argentina” with the President of the Greek Cultural Association Nostos, Dr. Christina Tsardikou, on Sunday, February 18th, at 10:00 GMT, the guest is Elena Markopoulos

Elena Markopoulos, born in Argentina to Greek parents, during the dictatorship she lived outside Argentina, in England where she taught the Greek language and wrote a method for easy learning of Greek as a second language.

She is working in the tourism sector in Greece, attracting the Spanish-speaking market, mainly Latin America and Argentina.

Her life ran parallel to the Argentine political history that has marked her and her three children forever.
