On Monday, June 9, 2025, from 22:00 to 23:00, the show “Our Town” will host renowned journalist Olga Bakomarou.
In a heartfelt conversation with host Themis Rodamitis, Bakomarou will revisit key moments from her fascinating career in print media (“Gynaika,” “Eleftherotypia”).
Live in the studio, the guest will talk about her early days and the highlights of her journey—how she earned trust and came close to iconic figures of culture (such as Hadjidakis, Lountemis, Katrakis, Koun, Tsarouchis, Mytaras, Kampanellis, among others) and politics (Papandreou, Mitsotakis, and others) through her in-depth interviews.
She will also speak in detail about her most recent book, Αριστερά, Κάποτε…, which features 16 interviews with people who fought for their beliefs and paid the price through persecution, exile, prison, and marginalization. Among them are Mikis Theodorakis, Manolis Glezos, Ilias Iliou, Leonidas Kyrkos, Babis Drakopoulos, Aleka Papariga, Michalis Papayiannakis, and more.
