On Sunday, 17 May 2026, from 12:00 to 14:00 Athens time, Voice of Greece’s program “Our Town” with Themis Rodamitis presents a special tribute to Danai, the leading interpreter of light song music of her era, who excelled artistically and created her own enduring legend.
Joining the program in the studio will be David Nachmias, acclaimed pianist and researcher of Greek light song and of Danai’s artistic legacy, who will reveal some of the most fascinating aspects of this unique personality.
Live from Studio B of Hellenic Radio, young singers Christina Samara and Maria Mountokalaki will perform some of the great songs immortalized by Danai, live for the listeners of Voice of Greece.
