“Our Town” presents: Athens on Stage (Part II) | 21 Feb. 2026, 12:00

On Saturday, 21 February 2026, from 12:00 to 13:00 (Athens time), the Voice of Greece program “Our Town” with Themis Rodamitis “visits” Athens’ theatre stages and discusses current productions with the directors and actors involved in them.

Speaking on the program:

● Actor and director Dimitris Tarlow on the play “Electra” by Sophocles, in a translation by Giorgos Cheimonas

Elena Karakouli, director and actress in the stage adaptation of “Misery” by Stephen King

● Actress Veronika Davaki on the production of “La Locandiera” by Carlo Goldoni

● Actor and director Nikolas Androulakis on the theatrical adaptation of “The Idiot” by Fyodor Dostoevsky

The program will also include references to the creative teams behind the productions, the distinctive features of the texts, as well as their unique meanings and the role theatre plays today.
