Seven poems each week — one Greek poem every day — travel through the airwaves of Voice of Greece to the farthest corners of the world, wherever Greek voices can be found.
The week from 9 to 15 February 2026 is dedicated to the poet Peny Delta.
Peny Delta (the pen name of Peny Doulavera) lives in Kiato and is active in artistic and theatrical photography, with collaborations in Greece and abroad (Apo Michanis Theatre, Michalis Kakogiannis Foundation, Brighton Fringe Festival, London). She has worked with theatre groups in Germany and Greece (THEAMA, Sikyonia Scene), while her photographs have appeared on book covers and entered into dialogue with poetic texts.
She has published poetry in anthologies and literary magazines. Her books include Darkroom (Metronomos, 2024) and Unmourned (AO, 2024). She is the Artistic Director of the Kiato International Poetry Festival and a member of the Corinthian Writers’ Society and PEN Greece.
