Piano soloist Katiana Georga from Paris on “Our Town” | 05 May 2025, 22:00

On Monday, May 5, from 22:00 to 23:00 (Athens time), the program “Our Town” welcomes pianist Katiana Georga.

The accomplished soloist, currently based in Paris, shares her remarkable musical journey, which began with advanced studies in Greece, France, and the United Kingdom.

Katiana discusses her international career, including solo recitals, chamber music performances across the globe, and accolades earned in prestigious competitions. She also reflects on the musical figures who have influenced and guided her artistic path.

Beyond performance, she speaks about her work as a piano educator, her studio recordings—which span genres including tango—and life as an artist in Paris.

The episode features her interpretations of works by Greek composers such as Kyriakos Fetsas and Dimitris Daskalothanassis. She also introduces her latest project: recording the piano compositions of Cypriot composer Michalis Andronikou, featured in the upcoming album Diaspora, a tribute to musicologist Thomas Tamvakos.
