Psychiatrist–Psychoanalyst Savvas Savvopoulos on “Our Town” | 21 Mar. 2026, 12:00

On Saturday, 21 March 2026, from 12:00 to 13:00 Athens time, the Voice of Greece program “Our Town”, hosted by Themis Rodamitis, welcomes the distinguished psychiatrist–psychoanalyst Savvas Savvopoulos.

The guest, in an in-depth conversation with Themis Rodamitis, will discuss the relationship between body and mind, Freud and somatization, narcissistic trauma, and the “confusion of tongues,” on the occasion of his latest book “The Mechanical Human – Silences of the Soul – Fractures of the Body.”

Special reference will be made to character and behavioral neurosis, childhood, and the relationship between child and parents.

As part of the celebration of World Poetry Day, Savvas Savvopoulos will read his own poems.
