On Thursday, 06 November 2025, at 12:00 (Athens time), the program “Imprint” with Fuli Zavitsanou welcomes Thanassis Vassiliou, film director and lecturer in Cinema in France, to the studio of Voice of Greece, on the occasion of the upcoming screenings of his award-winning documentary “Lo” in Athens and other Greek cities.
“Lo” (meaning “Hush” in the Epirus dialect) is a journey through contemporary Greece seen through the filmmaker’s personal experience. The film received the EKKOMED Award for Best Debut Director at the 27th Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival, while it also won the Golden Wreath of Megisti (Grand Prix) and the “Odysseus” Award for Best Documentary by a Greek Diaspora Director at the 10th Beyond Borders – Kastellorizo International Documentary Festival.
