Seven poems every week—one Greek poem each day—travel across the frequencies of Voice of Greece, reaching the far corners of the world wherever Greek voices are heard. The week of 08–14 December 2025 is dedicated to the poet Thanos Stathopoulos.
Thanos Stathopoulos was born in Athens in 1963. He has published nine books, now collected in the volume Η διασκευή του εαυτού μου στις 06:30 (Ikaros, 2023). From 1999 to 2024 he worked as a radio producer at the Third Programme of Hellenic Radio. Together with art historian Christoforos Marinos, he co-publishes the art magazine kaput. In parallel, as a curator, he has organized seven solo and group exhibitions and has written texts on the work of contemporary Greek and international artists. He has also contributed to the newspapers Eleftherotypia and Kathimerini.
