“The Apricot Tree That Grew Inside a Red Shoe” | 03 May 2025, 17:00

The show “Narratives – Stories and Fairy Tales for All Ages” with Maria Karagiannaki Iona will air on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 17:00 to 18:00 on Voice of Greece. It will feature the reading of The Apricot Tree That Grew Inside a Red Shoe, a book published by Kalendis publishing, written by the award-winning author Christos Bouliotis.

This heartfelt children’s story about the impossible becoming possible, invites young readers on a journey of creative imagination, encouraging them to envision a better world. The book’s illustrator, Photini Stefanidi, who is nominated for the 2026 Hans Christian Andersen Award, brings the story to life with her magical realist artwork, sparking positive emotions in young hearts.
