Theatre director and author Alexandros Diamantis on “Our Town” | 24 Nov. 2025, 22:00

On Monday, 24 November 2025, from 22:00 to 23:00 (Athens time), the programme “Our Town” on Voice of Greece welcomes Alexandros Diamantis.

The talented and charismatic theatre director and author shares thoughts and experiences from his productions, and especially from his work as Artistic Director of SIMEIO Theater.

In an in-depth conversation with Themis Rodamitis, he talks about his years of training, the landmark works that shaped him, his effort to “converse” with a contemporary theatrical voice in his time and place, and the importance of promoting modern Greek playwriting.

The program will also highlight the successful production of Shakespeare’s “Henry V”, featuring contributions from the two cast members, Parthenopi Bouzouri and Lina Papatheodorou.
