The Paris Book Festival opens its gates in the city of light (04.21.23 – 04.23.23)
The president of the Centre Culturel Hellenique (Center for Hellenic Culture), based in Paris, Ms. Katerina Xyla, spoke on Wednesday, April 19th, about the Greek pavilion, the events that Greek writers from France and Greece participate in.
As she told Natasa Vissarionos and Nicole Papadopoulou, the Center for Hellenic Culture of Paris, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Greece, organizes meetings, talks and round tables with the participation of Greek authors who will be present at the Paris Book Festival. Among them are: Alekos Papadatos, Makis Malafek, Christos Markogiannakis, Minos Efstathiadis and the Cypriot Sofronis Sofroniou.
It is worth noting that the honored country is Italy and the guest of honor is also the Hellenist Andrea Marcolongo, while the Artistic Director of the Paris Book Festival is the Greek Marie-Madeleine Rigopoulos, as noted by Ms Xyla.
