Dimitris Skyllas is invited to the studio of the VOICE OF GREECE and talks with Natasa Vissarionos and Nicole Papadopoulou on the occasion of the premiere of his work “Dance of Zalongo” at the Athens Concert Hall on Friday, April 28th. The composer, who lives in London, speaks about the important milestones of his career so far: his first appearance in England at Westminster Abbey, this musical compositions for Sophocles’ “Electra”, a National Theater production presented at the ancient theater of Epidaurus in 2018, his work “Kyrie Eleison” for the BBC Symphony Orchestra – he is in fact the first Greek composer to write a work for the BBC Symphony Orchestra – and he also speaks about “Afterpop”, a documentary about his life produced by the Onassis Foundation.
