On today’s episode, Natasa Vissarionos and Giannis – Stelios Tzirvelakis travel to Germany and talk to the composer and musician Thanasis Karamintzios about the concerts he will give in Munich (October 7) and Augsburg (October 8) that will include musical themes from his work Errante as well as new melodies. The composer, who is active in Berlin, also spoke about his new projects, which concern compositions that combine tango and rebetiko.
The director and artistic director of the German-Greek Theater of Cologne, Kostas Papakostopoulos was also a guest on the show. On the occasion of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Goethe Institute in Greece, he will present, for a unique evening on Saturday, October 8th at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, the performance “Iphigenia in the land of mourning“. It is a play based on Iphigenia in Tauris that has already been successfully performed in Cologne. Kostas Papakostopoulos is known for his innovative performances of ancient drama.
